with expertise in properties of MJF materials!
This page should lists the available MJF materials and present a part of their mechanical properties relevant for application of design rules. This page is in its initial form, as more research results are expected in future.
High Reusability Polyamide 12 is an engineering-grade thermoplastic optimized for 3D printing efficiency. The main aim of development of this material was reduction of total costs of ownership through industry-leading powder reusability, with refreshment rate being reduced to 20%. The material is optimized to achieve the best balance between the increase of the reusability and mechanical strength, having high density of products and achieving watertightness without further processing. The material also provides excellent chemical resistance to oils, greases, aliphatic hydrocarbons and alkalies, while meeting high biocompatibility standards (USP class I-VI and US FDA guidance for Intact Skin Surface Devices. The main applications of the material are production of functional prototypes and final parts with fine detail and dimensional accuracy.
